Your Date With Destiny By Jean KeysPrzykład
Discover Your Passion
The understanding of passion is a vital ingredient in the process of living your dream. Passion is a very strong emotion or desire. When you are passionate about something, it will be the inner motivation to see you through, no matter what the situation or circumstances. You might not be aware of what your passion is, but be assured—it is there, a pearl that will remain hidden until you discover it.
Passion is the thing that you just love doing and which fills you with energy—if something is not your passion you will feel drained. Proverbs teaches that we should discover a child’s gift and encourage them in their uniqueness—not comparing them to anyone else.
How about you? How can you discover what your passion is? When you are doing what you are passionate about, there will be such fulfillment that accolades become unnecessary. The results you achieve become your reward, filling you with a sense of wonder and satisfaction.
Take some time to answer the following questions. They will guide you to see what your passion is:
1. What are your interests? Find like-minded people with the same interests and let them stir it up in you.
2. What do you enjoy doing? What excites you?
3. What gives you such satisfaction that you would do it even if you did not get paid?
4. Which experiences in your life were highlights, and why do you say so?
5. What and how do you enjoy giving?
6. Which things or situations are hard or difficult for you?
7. What do you not like, and definitely do not want to do?
8. Which groups of people do you prefer to work with and enjoy being with?
9. Looking back on your replies, you will see your passion starting to emerge. Now summarize your passion in two or three sentences.
