SERVE WITH HUMILITY

Serving God’s Kingdom takes real humility, and let’s be honest—it’s easy to want attention for doing good things. We live in a world that shouts, “Look at me!” But Jesus lived a life that flipped that mindset upside down. He didn’t chase fame or power; instead, He lived in a way that put others first.

Matthew 20:28 reminds us that Jesus came to serve, not to be served. So how can we follow His example? Paul gives us some insight in Philippians: treat others as more important than yourself. Think about it—when you see someone in need, do you respond with grace and love, the same way God does for you? Do you take time to truly listen, or do you jump to conclusions? Do you value others the way Jesus values them?

Asking these questions can reveal if you’re serving out of selfish ambition or with Christlike humility. My prayer is that you’ll choose to serve with a heart that points people to God, giving Him all the glory. Be a blessing to the least, the last, and the lost. That’s what serving God’s Kingdom is all about.
