Marriage & FamilySample
Ins-and-outs of families
Marriage can be great and marriage can be very hard. Families can be awesome while some are tricky and some can be awful. We are all part of a family. Many of us get married, many don’t. Some of us have lots of kids, some have one or two, while some struggle and don’t have any even though they want to. Some choose not to have any children.
My parents divorced after 19 years of marriage. My parents-in-law were married for 61 years.
Through all of these relationships in marriage and with families, God is with us.
We praise God for the blessings that come from marriage and families. We pray earnestly to Him when things are hard with our marriage or families. As David writes in Psalm 16, we praise God for our blessings and know that He hears us and protects us so we can be secure in Him.
Remember that nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus (Romans 8:35–39). He loves us and hears us all the time.
Rest in that promise and be assured of Jesus’ love for you through everything, always and forever.
