What If...Sample
Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" Let's try doing this as we study Acts 9:36-43. We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
Being raised from the dead was noteworthy, but that's possibly not why Tabitha was included in the Bible. What does the passage point out about her? What does her friends' reaction to her death tell us was true about Tabitha's life?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
- Why do you think God wanted us to hear Tabitha's story?
- How would your community be impacted if more people were focused on the needs of others like Tabitha?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
- Have you ever met someone focused on helping the poor and caring for others' needs? What about them would you want to imitate?
- How would those closest to you describe what matters most to you? What do you hope they would show off as evidence of what you've done?
- What keeps you from helping others? Discomfort? Time? Another reason? What do you think God might be inviting you to do differently as you see the needs of those around you?

About this Plan
Curiosity inspires artists to look at what is in front of them and imagine something entirely different. God asks us to do something similar—to wonder what it might look like for things to be different. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll chase our curiosity and discover what it can look like to care for the people around us.
