Understanding the Subject of Faith

DAY 4 OF 30

YOUR MOUTH AS AN ASSISTANCE TO FAITH

You cannot have a strong faith force if you are not skillful with your mouth. You will know when your faith force is weak just as you will know when you are sick and your natural force is weak. If you sense that your faith force is weak, check your confession first of all. You will notice that you have stopped saying the right things, and you have been saying some wrong things of late.

When you are in the presence of God in the Church, you are in an atmosphere that is charged with faith and it is easy to make confessions of faith. The teachings of faith that are going on would have created an atmosphere of faith but the battles of faith are not fought in the Church, they are fought when you are alone. That is when you need to get your mouth strong and working. You should either check your confession or increase your confession of the word of God.

As a young Christian, the very first communication of heaven that I had was from Mark 11:24. It doesn’t matter what the matter is, break it down to “whatsoever thing ye desire, when you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them”. You can’t improve on that or change it. It was an experience that Jesus had that the disciples asked questions about and He explained to them. He was hungry on that day but He used His faith.

Prayer: Lord, I confess that good and pleasurable things are coming my way. I am the blessed of the Lord and none can reverse it in Jesus name. Amen!
