Understanding the Subject of Faith

DAY 9 OF 30

FIND YOUR LEVEL OF FAITH AND GROW

There are dimensions in faith but there is no demarcation in faith. Someone can believe that God is going to work through surgery in the hospital, while another person can believe that God can do it without anybody involved. They are not on the same dimension of faith. Stay on the dimension that you are comfortable with, but also know that everything that man is involved with can have complications; God can work with those complications but you must be ready to apply your faith to the complications.

If someone asked me, “Sir, should I take a business loan?” I would answer, "No problem but use your faith to control the interest." Why? You have to get your faith working before it's time to pay back the loan. If you don’t, the interest will eat up all the profits you might have made. If you take a loan to start school and the interest is high, begin applying faith that you will learn at such a fast rate, that the interest seems small by the time it's due. Put out your faith, before the interest can bite into your future.

If you have faith that God is going to work through doctors and that the drug you are prescribed can cure that sickness but may also have some deadly side effects, apply your faith, saying, “Father, I release control of both the negative and positive effects of this treatment to You. May it be Your will that I benefit from this drug without negative side effects." You have to find your level of faith.

Prayer: Lord, I receive a fresh baptism of wisdom to function effectively from my level of faith in Jesus' name. Amen!
