40 Days of Prayer & Fastingਨਮੂਨਾ

Fasting Creates Spiritual Sensitivity
When you discipline your flesh, your spirit starts to come alive. It’s like in our bodies, when we lose one of our senses, the others begin to heighten. If we lost our sense of vision, our sense of hearing would become greater. We would hear better than we did if we still had our vision. When your flesh decreases, you deny yourself and offer your flesh as a sacrifice to the Lord, your spiritual sensitivity increases. It becomes greater! It grows and becomes stronger.
Prayer: Heighten my spiritual awareness, Lord. Give me discernment and awareness to know what You know and see what You see. As I deny my flesh, make Your Spirit within me come alive. Teach me how to be spiritually sensitive to You, what You are saying, and where You are leading. My desire is to please You in all things and to do that, I need to be sensitive to Your still small whisper. Speak Lord, Your servant is listening. Amen.
