How are you doing? Are you hanging in there? Getting discouraged? Get ready for today because it’s time for Jesus to show up and show off. Until now, things have been said about Jesus, but today, Jesus Himself speaks.

Jesus speaks, and people react. The religious people are the ones angry at Jesus. “Who does He think He is?” they say. “Why is He talking about loving outsiders?”

Yet this is exactly what Jesus did. You’ll begin to see how Jesus didn’t act religious—instead He lived it out by setting people free from sickness and oppression. His message was so different from the religious leaders because it was backed up by action.

As you read, look at the ways people react to Jesus—some with anger, and others with amazement. And ask Jesus to reset your religion, to not be words alone, but to be filled with acts of love.
