Have you ever gotten a haircut or a new outfit and felt like a completely new person? That can be such a refreshing and fun feeling! 

When we choose to believe in Jesus and trust in Him, we experience a transformation in our lives that is like becoming a whole new person. After you choose to believe in him, you will always have God with you, in the form of the Holy Spirit inside you, helping you to make wise decisions and do what’s best. 

That doesn’t mean that you will always do the right thing or never mess up again. Everyone still makes mistakes. But it does mean that you can continue to become more and more like Jesus and put your old sinful self behind you. 

We make an exchange with God for a new life, filled with a relationship with Him even while we are still here on earth, and then forever in Heaven! It’s like we get to experience a small glimpse of Heaven while still on earth, and nothing could be better than that!

Challenge: Take some time to memorize Ephesians 4:22-23, and use that verse as a reminder of how Jesus has changed you. Thank God for always being with you and for the opportunity to learn and grow to be more like Jesus every day.
