It All CountsSample
The Most Important Thing is Not Always the Most Impressive
Let's put ourselves in Paul's shoes for a moment. He's used to talking in front of crowds, he's a speaker and an impressive leader. But now he finds himself alone and he decides to focus working on what's important. He is still contributing to the growth and maturity of the church's faith.
Nothing that Paul had experienced, not even the opportunities, nor the churches he planted, nor the ground he conquered, nothing that he had accumulated was more important than being planted in Him, being confident and clinging to Jesus.
Today we live in a society that is focused on what is impressive, but we can see that the things that are impressive are not always important.
When some people take a look at our church they might think that everything we do is impressive. Maybe it's because they saw certain photo captured in the right moment, with the right song... but what is really important for us is that people can meet Christ, that their hearts connect with Jesus.
Maybe you are in a process now and you don't see the progress you want to see. Stay calm, celebrate the small victories of the journey. Maybe you think that your condition limits you; however, it helps to increase your reach. Your biggest challenge can be the most beautiful story you will have to tell and to lift others up. I encourage you to keep focusing on what's important. You have a story to tell, God wants to use you for the glory of His name.
It all works for good, it all counts.
