Sharing God: Reflections on 2 Corinthians 5:11-21Sample

Sharing God: Reflections on 2 Corinthians 5:11-21

DAY 7 OF 7

DAILY SCRIPTURE

And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. (2 Corinthians 5:15 NIV)

LIVING FOR JESUS

Jesus loves you.

You know that of course, but it’s true and it’s important to remember that daily. As Christians, our lives are all about Him - who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and is going to do, and who He is for us as we live every moment with Him. Because of His incredible love for us, we no longer live for ourselves but for Him. There is simply nothing better!

The circumstances in your life right now are full of kingdom potential and eternal significance. You can partner with the Holy Spirit every day to see more and more people experience His love. The part you play in His plan is unique and important, and it contributes to the advancement of the mission God has given us to make His love and truth known to all. Let us continue to step out in faith and share the wonderful message we have been given- the message of reconciliation. We do this all for our Jesus, all for His glory.

May His kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 1:19 NIV)

THOUGHTS FOR PRAYER AND REFLECTION

·  Think back over the things you feel God has been saying to you throughout this devotional. What are some specific things you have learned from God?

·  Is there anything you would like to do to further implement these things in your life?

·  Ask for God’s help and grace in these areas

Day 6

About this Plan

Sharing God: Reflections on 2 Corinthians 5:11-21

Whether you serve in a specific ministry, or you just long to share Jesus with those in your life, we all have the great privilege of introducing the people in our world to our wonderful God and help them take steps towards Him. As we explore 2 Corinthians 5:11-21, we can be greatly encouraged and inspired to partner with God in seeing people encounter His great love for themselves.
