21 Days To A Teenager’s Spiritual Change

DAY 7 OF 21

Too Much

I do not think anything has changed over the ages regarding a few patterns. As people, no matter what age, they are quick to take all the glory and fame, that's what we are all like. Every success has many fathers or people that claim victory, while failure is an orphan and no one wants to own up to their own failures.

God doesn't want you to think too high about yourself, because pride is not a good characteristic. Nobody, not even God, likes conceited people. What’s more is it’s usually because of pride that we fail. Every change, when we give glory to God and when we acknowledge that He is the father of our success, should show we honor God with our actions (and are really liked by God). :)

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you care for me. Thank you that all good things come from you. If you see any pride in me, please, show it to me and give me strength to get rid of it. Amen.

Challenge: Think of five of your successes and accomplishments. Who is their author? Is it you or is it God? If it's God, thank him for it. Do it now and don’t forget to apologize if you have thought differently.
