In the face of any delays, praise God that he is in charge of time and knows the plans he has for us.

Joseph knew about waiting – it took 13 years for him to move from the empty cistern to the palace. A journey that took him via Potiphar's household and prison. But why so long? Perhaps God saw the need for Joseph to go on a customised training course where he learned to develop both the character and competence needed for the leadership role that God had prepared for him.
