Golfing by yourself is not a lot of fun. It's okay for practicing, but it pales next to playing in a foursome. What's the fun of making a hole in one--or even just hitting a good shot--when you're golfing by yourself? First of all, nobody will believe you and second, you want to be with people to celebrate the PGA-level shots and to groan and laugh together about the lame ones.

Expressing and sharing your faith isn't for loners either. One of the best parts of a Christian family is that you get to be with people. People who love Jesus. People who are motivated by Jesus' love for them and as a result find it possible to love you. People who help carry your burdens when you're sad and celebrate the very best times in your life when you're happy.

The Bible says, "As we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" (Galatians 6:10).

This week, look at the believers around you. God sent them to make your life better. Or perhaps he sent you to them to make their lives better. Or both. See if you can figure out how.
