Day 1: The Call to Discipleship

Scripture: “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’” – Matthew 16:24

Reflection:
Discipleship begins with a personal call from Jesus to follow Him wholeheartedly. As moms, we’re often pulled in many directions, but God is asking us to focus on Him first. When we prioritize our relationship with Jesus, everything else in our lives falls into alignment with His will.

Question to Consider:
What does it mean for you to take up your cross daily as a disciple of Jesus?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for calling me to follow You. Teach me to deny myself and walk in obedience, trusting that Your plans are greater than mine. Help me to lead my family by first following You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
