How does God feel about Zion? How should the people respond?
Zech 9-14 The Lord will return to Zion.
As you read these complex chapters (which we’ll conclude tomorrow), pay particular attention to verses that are quoted in the NT regarding Jesus and his ministry, but try to do so in context of the whole book, and see how that gives a richer perspective on them.
- Zech 9:9-10 The king comes to Jerusalem riding on a donkey (Matt 21:5, John 12:15)
NOTE: Days 1-5 of each week contain the scripture reading for that week. Day 6 has just the 'key chapters'. If you want a briefer version of this plan that still takes you through the whole Bible, you could just read the key chapters featured on day 6. Day 7 has the podcast video where we discuss the week's reading.
