The Covenant Relationship of Marriageनमूना
Godly Submission
To submit is to yield to the will of another. It is an act of selflessness. Sometimes people only submit to another because of the authority level they carry. The scripture admonishes us to submit to one another. In marriage, God made the man the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. Submission is not a burden for the wife when the husband submits to Christ. The husband who submits to Christ is guided by the love of the Lord and has only the best interests at heart for his wife. The wife finds submission to her husband pleasurable when she feels loved, protected and covered. As the church is subject unto Christ so is the wife to be subject to her own husband in everything. Because he is in right standing with the Father through the Son, he knows how to nourish and cherish his wife as Christ does the Church.
Personal Story
I am so blessed to be married to a man who loves God and leads with love. To see God at work in his life is wonderful. He makes it easy for me to be submissive, it is not a burden even after 37 years. There have been times however when submission was difficult and the reason being was that one of us was out of alignment with God. A slight misalignment or subluxation in our natural bodies can throw the entire physical system off.
“When we first submit to the Lord, submission to one another is conceivable.”
