DAY 7 OF 28

[IMAGE CONTENT] At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's... SPEND TIME WITH GOD There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God, or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge is going to help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with God. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too! CHALLENGE This week, we talked about how having a regular pattern for how we spend time with God can make a difference. For this challenge, choose a time and place you'll designate for spending time with God. This could mean setting your alarm ten minutes earlier each morning or giving up those last few minutes of scrolling before bed. Try to set aside at least ten minutes so you have time to read God's words, reflect on what they say, and pray. Using this book can be a great guide! Before you begin, write down a few thoughts about how you hope your time with God changes you. It could be a goal like a spiritual habit you want to strengthen, clarity on a tough decision, or a desire for peace. At the end of the week, go back to what you'd written and reflect on what changes you saw. Don't worry if you don't see huge growth or change right away. Sometimes, change happens instantly, but often, it's the result of small progress over time.
