Unafraidनमूना
Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then, summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read 2 Timothy 1:7–10 again.
- What stands out to you?
- What does it teach us about facing our fears?
- What questions do you still have?
A: Application
- What's one way you're struggling to be bold this week?
- What does this passage invite you to view as the source of courage?
- How would your life look different if you had the boldness to face your current fears?
P: Prayer
Spend some time in prayer about a situation where you need courage. Ask for help trusting God with your circumstances, and consider how God's power, love, and self-discipline could help. Then, say thank you for all the ways God is with you when you feel timid.
