DAY 36 OF 365

Stand Firm - 2

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Whatever happens, as citizens of heaven live in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, … I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together with one accord for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteous-ness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
