This chapter continues with the prediction of the destruction of Jerusalem (A.D.70). It is presented to us in the future tense because this was true at the time of writing (A.D. 68).

1. TRIUMPHANT LAMB

Good news is only good news if it is good news. And good news is only good news if it includes you. Our Lamb is already triumphant. He is seated in heavenly places. There is no authority, no rulership, no power that is not under His domain because He is Lord of lords and Kings of kings.

2. CHOSEN AND ELECTED

Imagine standing in a line of players and being called first by name! First draft pick! Not accommodated, not accepted, but chosen and called.

This is what the King of Kings and Lord of Lords does. He chooses and calls You! Personally, intentionally, as His very first pick.

Not only are you included in His Good News, but you are also invited to participate in the victory parade.

What does Christ’s Lordship mean to me?

How significant is my inclusion in His team?

How could I respond to Christ’s invitation today?
