From the get go, Revelation lays out the completeness of God’s kingdom and points to the New Creation. Jesus is described as the Firstborn from the dead, the Ruler over all kings, the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega. Faith in his supremacy means that we can face whatever is to come, knowing that the Kingdom will one day be established fully on earth as it is heaven.

The apocalypse ("uncovering" in Greek) that John receives reveals the nature of the world as it is and will one day be. Amidst all of the cosmic imagery is a Lamb and its army who conquer through the power of sacrificial love. This 8-week plan is written by the church and for the church as we seek to follow Jesus in the 21st century.
