What is pleasing to God?

Many scriptures showcase the things that are pleasing to God. It's a great topic for personal study, and I suggest you invest more time on this.

Reminding ourselves of these things helps us avoid the easy tendency to see following Jesus as a task to fulfil on a Sunday or simply by our good works alone. Knowing Him reshapes our values once God captures our hearts and aligns us for His plans.

Exalting Jesus, above all, unveils Isaiah 61's miracle. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because," the great BECAUSE. It is the perfect blueprint for us all to walk out the heart of God. Through our presence-filled lives, we bring a river of God's life to the world. Pleasing Him, as we love people like he loves people.

So, maybe, just maybe, the purpose behind our prayer, worship, and lives laid down for His glory is even greater than we had ever imagined. Maybe God, creator of heaven and earth, reminds us that we are made in His image. As worship deepens, our interior transformation leads to loving, godly actions. A revolution of worship and service emerges, driven by love, not striving.

We were made:

  • To Love & Include.
  • For Purpose, & On Purpose.
  • To bring Joy & Release more of Heaven's Atmosphere.
  • To declare King Jesus' sovereignty.
  • To embody His hands & feet in this World.
  • To Overcome & Walk in Authority.
  • To Gather the Outcast & love the unlovable
  • To Stand in the gap & speak for the voiceless.

We were made for LOVE.

Today, as we go about our lives in pursuit of serving and loving God, I pray that we will find ourselves bringing Him much pleasure. Because family, in the end, we don’t live to please humanity; we live to give Glory to the Name above every other Name, Jesus.
