Draw Nigh.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Draw nigh to Christ. Draw close to Him. Seek Him with all of your heart. Seek Him in all that you do. Draw nigh to Him. When you seek the Lord, you’re submitting to His Way. When you seek the Lord, you’re submitting to His Counsel.

Seeking is a sign of submission. Surrender your heart to Christ. Surrender your ways to Him. Surrender to His Way. Yield to His Way. Draw nigh to our Everlasting King. For He is our Father. For the Lord our God desires you to fellowship with Him.

Draw close to Him. May your thoughts align with His Heart. May your actions yield to His Way. Draw close to Christ and commune with Him.

The Amplified Version puts it this way, “Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].” James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬.

Come close to God and He will come close to you. Surrender your will to His Heart. Bow to His Way. Surrender to His Word and let His Light lead and direct your path.

Who is like our Lord? For who is like our Great King? For our Lord sits high and yet looks low. He is concerned about your need.
