As women, we have a tremendous opportunity to establish a godly home for our families. The wise woman establishes her altar before she establishes her home so that her family’s foundation is built on the fear of the Lord. The foolish woman exalts herself, her desires, and her plans over God’s. Her lack of self-discipline and self-control causes her house to crumble.
How can you increase God’s presence, His will, and His ways in your home? By surrendering and following God, a wise woman can greatly improve her marriage, family, home, and legacy even into future generations.
Father God, I thank You for the blessing of my family. Help me to build a home that is established on Your Word with You as the center. Develop in me a stable and calm temperament so that I am a blessing to my family. Lord, help maintain our home as a place of peace, laughter, and unity. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
