Called 2 Love: A Journey Into Marriage Intimacy नमूना
Life Happens
For marriage to be far more abundant and beyond what we can ask or think, we must intentionally focus on marriage intimacy as our goal. This is essential.
Too often, we may find that . . .
- Our intimacy is hindered by unresolved relationship issues or emotions that have nothing to do with our marriage or spouse.
- We are distracted from God’s best for our marriage by seemingly good things like work, friends, children’s activities, hobbies, and even religious pursuits.
Before continuing, pause and pray something like: God, reveal any of my unhealed emotions and how they might be hindering intimacy with my partner. Show me any distractions that can leave my partner feeling alone.
How might your spouse, at times, actually experience aloneness in your marriage?
My spouse may be feeling alone at times when I . . .
In contrast to an abundant and intimate marriage is a marriage that settles for less than God intends. We can be committed but not really connected. We can be a couple who is making a living but not really sharing a life. We can be together but too often still alone.

Father, I’m asking you to be the Great Physician for me and _________. Heal our hurt from the past. Be the God of all comfort who heals unresolved pain and the Spirit of power who reorders the priorities of our lives. I’m asking specifically for you to . . .
Claim the promise of 1 Chronicles 29:11 for the Lord to have dominion over your marriage.
