Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith नमूना

Looking around us in our current situation, who do you think rules our land? The government? The political party in power? The local government? All of them perhaps to various degrees. They seem to have the authority to change laws, put in restrictions, bring our lives to a grinding halt, and so much more. But there is One who is LORD in the “midst of the land” – in our nation right now, with all our mess and confusion, He is God over it. He reigns. Not just in heaven but right here, right now. Sometimes, we need to be reminded that the One who actually rules over our nation, is the One on whose side we are. Perhaps it may not seem that way today, but remember we are called to live by faith not by what we see. This is the truth – our God is the ultimate authority. He wields control. He is sovereign. The wonderful aspect of having Him as an overlord is that He provides us—His children—with special protection. Protection not in the way we may think – where all our troubles disappear, but rather, a divine “setting-apart”. We have the distinction of being His precious children. So whatever may happen to our physical bodies, one thing will remain – all will know whom we belong to. 

Pray:

• For eyes of faith to see our God in the midst of our land – over our nation.

• That the Church will have a deeper knowledge of who our Lord is.

• That our trust in Him and His ways will deepen and not dissipate when doubts assail.
