Stand Out: Living for Christ in a Corrupt Worldनमूना
Be a Witness in Your Home
7:12-24: In verses 12-16, Apostle Paul continues to address married Christians and commands them to avoid divorce. Then, in verses 17-24, we see that Christians were saved from different backgrounds. Paul asks them to live as Christians, no matter what their social, economic, and religious background was.
After getting saved, the Corinthians probably wanted to make a lot of changes in their lives without thinking of the consequences. But Paul wrote to them that they must remain as Christians in whatever situation they are in.
Even we don’t have to change our status in order to live for Christ. For example, if you became a believer after your marriage but your spouse is still not saved, you must remain married to your spouse. You can still live for the Lord. Moreover, God can use the Christian partner to be a godly influence on the family. The Lord can work in the unbelieving spouse and children through the believing spouse. So, be a witness in your home.
Prayer: Lord, please help me to be a faithful witness at my home.
