21 Days of Rightful Relationships नमूना
Day 20 - He wants all of you
For such a long time, I thought giving relationships the number one priority in my life was okay. I would often put my relationships and others before God. You have to understand God wants all of our lives, not just a part of it.
Put no one before God
Far too often, from relationship to relationship, I would put others before God. Although I knew the principles of God, when it came to relationships I simply failed. And for the life of me, I could not understand why this area of my life was not blessed with God’s favor. I prayed. I fasted. I declared and decreed but then I began to ask the Holy Spirit to show me what was stopping me from being successful in this area.
Surrender
Secondly, since I was walking in victory in other areas of my life, I didn’t really know how to surrender my relationships to God. I did all I could to make things happen. I pushed, forced, and planned to bring my petition of successful relationships to pass. But God said – “No.” He made it clear. If I continued to try to make things happen, then the reality is I don’t really trust Him. The great thing about God is – He doesn’t need our help! This is why in 2 Chronicles it tells us – Stand ye still. This is not your battle to fight but the Lord’s! So, you can try all you want, but there is no better matchmaker than our Lord and Savior Christ. He knows just what to do. And when you truly let it all go and let God, nothing will be able to separate you from the persons or relationships God has ordained for your life.
