Wealthy Women Prosper

Submission is often misunderstood in the Christian community. It’s a word that some have misused, and the misuse of this beautiful word can only be attributed to the enemy, who tries his best to keep us from God’s best.

In this moment, we take back everything that the enemy tried to twist and contort, and we align it with the word of God, because the truth is, submission is a critical and necessary step to achieve the wealth that you’ve been praying to God for.

Submission can be broken down into two parts - sub and mission. Sub means “to get under, underneath” and mission is a Latin word that means “to send.” It appears in the New Testament in Galatians 2:8 as a translation of the Greek word “apostole” or apostle. An apostle is commissioned and sent to fulfill a special purpose.

It’s important to understand what this word means because in doing so, we can easily see why the enemy wants us to miss it, and why God so intently wants us to get it. When I decide to “get under” or to support where God wants “to send” me, I am positioned to fulfill one of the most central themes of Christianity - to share the goodness of God with others through my purpose. There’s a bonus too - I am healed as I go.

The interesting thing about going where God said to go, is that you don’t have to be 100% healed to begin going. Repeatedly, God sends people to accomplish His mission out into the world, and they are healed as they go. Two examples:

  • Jesus was approached by ten lepers who requested Him to heal them. Instead of laying hands or speaking a healing prayer, Jesus told the ten lepers to go show themselves to the priest. One came back, and Jesus explained why he was healed - it was by faith. As they went, they were healed. (Luke 17:14)
  • Naomi felt God had forsaken her after her sons and husbands died (Ruth 1:21), but she went to Bethlehem anyway, following the leading of God by faith. God healed her heart, causing a wealth of youth to form in her body, and in her old age, she became a wet nurse to her grandson Obed, who was the 27th great-grandfather of Jesus. He placed her in the divine lineage of Jesus. As she went, she was healed. (Ruth 4:16)

God doesn’t choose perfect people to accomplish His perfect mission, because no one is perfect except Jesus. Instead, God works with imperfect people to perform His perfect will in this world.

So, if you were waiting to get it all together before you do what you feel God calling you to do, you’re missing your healing. If you thought you needed to be better than you are right now to do what God placed in your heart, you’re missing your healing. If you listened to the lies of the enemy that said that you weren’t good enough or worthy enough to do what God wants you to do, and you’ve remained in the same place, you’re missing your healing.

God wants to accomplish His mission in your life and heal you at the same time, but it requires you to say yes by faith and to go.

You’ve got to move, and you’ve got to move when God says move. When you do, you become a sub to the mission. You move in submission. You are the apostle to wherever God is directing you to go, and as you go, you’ll realize the miraculous blessing of God’s goodness and mercy in your life. As you go, you are healed.

You are the one we've been waiting for.

manifestHERdaily Question of the Day: What is the one thing I can do now to begin moving in submission to God?

Affirmation of the Day:

I am a wealthy woman who prospers, and I know that God has His hand in my life. God is doing a rich, new thing in my mind, my body, my heart, and my life. I walk with a keen awareness of His calling for me, and right now, I affirm that I am positioned to prosper in it. I am able and equipped. I am prepared, and I am purposed. I am healed, and I am whole. I believe, and I walk by faith, and in doing this, I please God.
