Today you will be on stage!

“I don't have that many opportunities to tell people about Jesus. I don't stand on stages like you, Déborah."

Okay, we can work with that sentence today. Do you know what the biggest stage of my life has been so far? Do you know where most people have seen me? Where I had to take the most criticism, but also received the most praise? The place where I actually tell and show most people about Jesus?

In my everyday life.

Everyday life is the biggest stage you will ever stand on!

You often won't even notice what God is working WONDERFULLY through this moment you’re in—everyday life—where you have a chance to tell a person about what Jesus has done for you. You may go your separate ways after that, never see each other again.

But you can be sure that the God who has left traces in your life will also leave traces in the lives of your fellow human beings!

That's why I want to encourage you today, because it's so important that you speak about the hope you have in Jesus every day. For this I wish you something very special in Paul's words:

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NIV)

And, maybe you will be the only one who will ever tell this person you will meet today about this wonderful love, about true hope, about Jesus. Will you do it then? Let's pray for this:

“Jesus, I just realized I am stepping onto a very significant stage today—my everyday life. Help me to recognize, yes, to perceive the moments when You want me to “sing solo.” Take the trembling out of my voice and help me to convey how wonderful You are with confidence and at the same time full of feeling. Holy Spirit, work through me today and let me see how You transform people. I'm ready. Amen."
