Lord, please forgive me where my hands are dirty with wrong attitudes and actions. Cleanse me that my worship would be acceptable to you.

We know that if we confess our wrong attitudes and action, and desire to change, God will forgive us (1 John 1:9). More than that, his Holy Spirit will help us live differently. We proclaim God’s holiness through our confession and so worship him.
