Jesus, whenever I am tempted to allow something other than your peace to reign in my heart please forgive me and challenge me to change.

We are to allow the peace of Christ and the word of Christ to be agents of change in both our individual and corporate lives. This happens as we teach one another and as we sing together. Our worship together is the overflow of our new life in Christ. We learn a new story of the world and our place in it, we hear a new word spoken to us, and in songs and psalms we sing this new story to one another.
