Live Life Today!नमुना
Is THAT the truth?
It's so crazy! And don't tell me you don't know this feeling?
There are those times when you feel like you're really in sync with God, and suddenly—really suddenly— you start doubting again whether He has forgotten about you, or worse, is disappointed in you. Right?
I had just come back from an incredible weekend on tour, where over 100 people had given their lives to Jesus, and I was practically, despite being tired, on cloud nine. I just can't stop marveling at what God is doing!
And now, I was looking forward to the next project at hand, now that I was back home, but here came the surprise: "Déborah, we've decided to go with someone else."
And, looking back, I have to laugh about it again, but because this happens to us in everyday life over and over again. I want to address it today because I'm sure you can relate. Immediately, I thought, "Did I do something wrong? Have I perhaps disappointed God? Am I not 'good' enough, not 'holy' enough for this project?"
Perhaps for the thousandth time—and yet not often enough—I have to remind both of us here of Proverbs 4:23: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23 NIV)
I know, normally the last sentence "Do not spread lies" isn't quoted. But today it's important to me because you're spreading a lie yourself if you believe something like this and even convince yourself of it in this case. Because:
God doesn't love you more because of the things you do for Him.
He doesn't love you less because of the things you do against Him.
Paul was convinced of this when he said: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39 NIV)
So don't let your feelings have a say any longer, because in this case, they only want to take away the truth from you.
You are loved.
By God.
Today as much as yesterday.
THAT is the truth.
You are a miracle!

In these seven days, we will remind ourselves of the importance of living in the NOW and not overlooking what God has in store for us NOW, with, through, and for us! I wish you an open heart and many heavenly "aha moments" as you journey throughout this plan!
