In ancient Greece, they had a legend of a guy named Sisyphus. He was an ancient prince who cheated a couple of the Greek gods, which is never a good idea. As punishment, they forced him to spend eternity pushing a huge boulder up a hill, only for the boulder to immediately roll back down every single time. So, according to their myths, he'll be doing that forever — pushing a big rock up a hill over and over again for all eternity. Sounds like a bummer.
You probably feel like Sisyphus with a few things in your own life. Maybe you've got a family member who's sick. Maybe you just can't figure out how to get your grades higher. Maybe your family has money troubles. Maybe you've just got a lot of stress and worry in your head, and you can't ever seem to quiet it down. All these things can feel like you're spending every day pushing a huge boulder up a hill, and there's no end in sight.
Struggles like this can be very painful. It can also be exhausting. You wish you could go just one day without having to deal with it, but it's always there, hanging over your head like a cloud.
When we feel this way, God instructs us to be brave because we don't have to face these things alone. God is right beside us, working with us on whatever is giving us trouble, ready to help us overcome.

We'll look at four major stressors we all deal with and see how God's words can give us comfort, guidance, and help with each of them. We'll talk about what Jesus offers you when you're not okay, what God wants you to know when people reject you, what to do when it's not easy to do what's right, and when we feel worried, we'll see what God has to say.
