Healing Hurt From a Broken Heartनमुना
Day 10: A Red Sea Moment
On your hardest days, it may be difficult for you to see how you’re going to make it through this season of your life. There may be days when you feel like you can’t make it through, and you want to give up on life altogether. Don’t do it! God didn’t bring you out of that relationship just to leave you lonely, broken, and bitter. God has a plan for your life, and His plans will prevail by any means necessary.
On days when all you see are the negative emotions in front of you and the toxic relationship behind you, you might feel trapped, but I want you to remember that going back to that relationship or drowning in the sea of your emotions are not the only two options.
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13). This is the perfect opportunity to allow God to give you a third option. It’s the perfect opportunity to have a Red Sea moment. Just like God parted the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites, He has a way of escape for you too. He can make a path for you to walk through on dry land. This is the time God may introduce something or someone to you that you never saw coming.
There are so many possibilities for your Red Sea moment, but if you feel stuck, know that God will not let you be devoured. He will certainly deliver you. I don’t ever want you to feel hopeless or like you have to choose the lesser of two evils. Healing and breakthroughs are on the way. Look intently! You will see the salvation of the Lord.
Declare: I have no reason to feel hopeless or in despair. I serve a big God. He is my deliverer and my healer. He did not bring me out of a toxic relationship just to stew in my toxic emotions. I know God has so much more for me than what I can see right now. I am waiting to see His salvation in my life. I believe I have a Red Sea moment awaiting me.
