Flowers Don't Worry: Journal Your Way Through Anxiety!नमुना
Did you know that lilies are known as the most “robust” of flowers? There is no such thing as “off-season” for lilies because they are perennial plants and can thrive very well without any human intervention and can deal with all kinds of changes in weather. No wonder Jesus asked us to the “look at the lilies” and learn from them!
Being a Christian doesn’t make us in any way immune to challenges. It doesn’t guarantee that we won’t go through difficult seasons in life. In fact, more than once, the Bible assures us that we will experience trials of different kinds. What then can keep us standing tall through all this like the lilies in the field?
It is not by our strength or our abilities but only and only by having God on our side. His promise to us is that He will be with us when we pass through pain and suffering. He assures us that if we know that our Maker is our keeper and rest in that knowledge in times of trial, we can avoid feeling anxious and fearful.
Journaling Prompt:
Today, think about a situation that worries you a lot and write about it in your journal. Write about what makes this particular problem daunting and how it makes you feel. Now, also write down God’s promise to you from Isaiah 43:2. Focus on God’s strength and ability to see you through this problem. Draw, paint or sketch some lilies in your journal to remind you that with God by your side your hope can always be in bloom — nothing can destroy your spirit.

Prayer:
Lord, I choose to trust your Word over my worry. I choose to cast my cares on you and allow you to be the strength that holds me up through this time. I choose to be enduring and robust like the lily. I put my hope and trust in you! Amen.
