The Gift of Rest
Jesus, please help me as I seek to learn from you. May I grow in gentleness and humility.
We are promised rest for our souls as we learn from Jesus. A learner is humble of heart, recognising that they don’t have all the answers. We may even fail to discern the real question that needs answering. A helpful question can be, ‘Lord, what would you have me know in this moment?’ His answer may be wisdom for your situation, His peace, insight into the true issues, or awareness of His great love for you.

About this Plan
Sabbath rest is essential to our identity as God’s people: a gift to refresh us and equip us for good work. But many of us find it hard to do. This prayer journey will help you explore the reasons for restlessness, God’s gift of rest, and how your work – in your job, your home, or your street – can flow from that place of rest and connection with Him.
