Asking God

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

MATTHEW 7:7–8 NASB1995

God invites us to ask Him for the things we need, and He promises to hear our prayers as well as our thoughts. The Lord is always available, and He’s always ready to help us.

And He knows precisely what we need. But He still instructs us to ask.

Do you make a habit of asking God for the things you need? Hopefully so. After all, the Father most certainly has a plan for your life. And He can do great things through you if you have the courage to ask for His guidance and His help. So be fervent in prayer and don’t hesitate to ask the Creator for the tools you need to accomplish His plan for your life. Then, get busy and expect the best. When you do your part, God will most certainly do His part. And great things are bound to happen.

God will help us become the people we are meant to be, if only we will ask Him.
