DIVINE PLAN

Do you enjoy a quiet, comfortable and exciting life everyday? Some people think that they can only enjoy a quiet and comfortable life when they have piled up a lot of savings or wealth, having a big house, branded clothes and bags. The fact is there are many rich people who do not enjoy a quiet and comfortable life. They always worry of their wealth, their business or company.

Joseph received a dream from God. Through his dreams, God revealed His plan and promises to Joseph, that one day Joseph would be a great leader and a blessing to many nations. The life Joseph had was not easy. He was thrown into an empty cistern and then sold as a slave to the Ishmaelites by his brothers. Joseph was even locked up in the prison because of the slander of Potiphar’s wife.

Those difficult situations didn’t cause Joseph to live his life ungratefully. He remained to live his life with full trust and obedience to God (Genesis 39:9). The Psalmist said that those who dwell in God (in God’s divine plan) will experience peace in their life. Problems may come, but when we walk in His divine plan, God will not leave us or forsake us. Just like God was with Joseph and he prospered in everything he did. (Genesis 39:23b).

When God’s heart is pleased with our obedience, He will surely bring us peace.
