"The first thing I’ll do in the morning

The last thing I’ll do every night

Is build You a throne with my worship

I live for communion, no matter the price”

Making Room, David Binion & Mitch Wong

Celebrating the Lord can look much different than one might imagine. When one thinks about celebration, the first thing to come to mind usually has something to do with cheerful people making merry, dancing, singing and more. However, celebration does not have to be a loud, colorful affair; giving thanks to the Lord with our worship does Him just as much honor as shouting and laughing with the joy of the Lord. As a matter of fact, those who are truly hungry for the presence of God will often find that both sides – praise and worship – are of equal importance. Loud celebration only makes the quieter kind sweeter.  Tender moments with the Lord take on a different importance altogether when we can experience both sides of the same coin of celebration.

Make a point of celebrating in this way every morning when you wake up, and every night before you go to bed, even if only for a few minutes. Setting aside time every day to give thanks for all that Jesus has done for us will only serve to strengthen our relationship with Him. May we learn to take time with the Lord and experience the ever-increasing levels of His presence. It is through relationship with Him that we discover the shift in the atmosphere that brings transformation and change in our lives.

I HAVE DECIDED

I’M MAKING ROOM, I’M MAKING ROOM

HERE IN MY HEART LORD

I’M MAKING ROOM COME AND DWELL IN ME

JESUS NEVER LEAVE

I’M MAKING ROOM
