When we’re children, the vision we have of ourselves in the future can sometimes amuse us later. For example, “When I grow up, I want to be an astronaut, explorer, ballerina…” When I was six years old, my teacher asked me what I’d like to be when I grew up, and I answered...the President of France! Which made everyone in my first grade class keel over in laughter…

My desire back then and my present reality are quite different! In the same way, we can have dreams which are “good” but not necessarily the Father’s will for us.

Long before you were born, your Creator had dreams for you (see Ephesians 2:10). He wove them into your DNA as you were conceived. I invite you today to discover God’s plan for your life. I encourage you to go on a search for it!

God says, “‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’’' (according to Jeremiah 33:3)

God desires to reveal “great and mighty things” to you. These are hidden things. His desire is certainly not to watch you from high above in the heavens, saying, “I’m going to see if My child figures out all by him/herself what he/she was created for.” No! God wants to walk alongside you like a good Father. He longs to speak to you, reveal what He wants for you, and unveil the dream that’s in His heart for your life.

So, what if you asked God to reveal to you His dream for your life?
