God Is Powerfulಮಾದರಿ

Today, I’d like to talk with you about the extraordinary deliverance of the people of Israel approximately 3,500 years ago—and how this relates to you today.

“You can be sure that I have heard the groans of the people of Israel, who are now slaves to the Egyptians. And I am well aware of my covenant with them.” – Exodus 6:5

Oppressed, beaten, and starving, the Hebrews worked unceasingly for ruthless pharaohs who enslaved them in appalling conditions for more than 400 years (the story starts in Exodus 1). When God heard the distressed cries of His people, He decided to intervene powerfully.

God hasn’t changed. He wants to act in your life today and save you from whatever painful situation you feel enslaved to.

• Are you struggling with health issues?
• Battling addiction?
• Facing (financial) trouble?
• Longing for a spouse or maybe a child?

He has heard your cries, friend, and the almighty God is always ready to manifest His power and glory!

If you’ve been crying out to God for a long time, don’t lose heart:

“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” – Isaiah 59:1

God will deliver you at the right time, just as He did for Israel. He is telling you today what He said to the people of Israel through Moses:

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.” – Exodus 14:13

There is a beautiful song by Lauren Daigle called 'rescue' I listened to it on repeat when our son was in the hospital. If you feel like you need rescue today, find the song and listen to it as if Jesus is singing it over you.
