"Anyone who has my commands and obeys them loves me." John 14:21 ESV

Sometimes, we want the blessing without the One who blesses. We want God to give us Heaven but refuse to submit or obey the commands of Heaven.

Obedience is an unpopular belief in American culture today, especially in our faith. We feel we are entitled to God's grace but are not. Grace is a gift freely given by our Lord Jesus.

However, to walk in the abundance of that grace requires obedience.

• You have to sow, and till the ground, God has given you.
• You have to get your hands dirty.
• You have to plant the Kingdom in your own life.

We must:

• Receive the invitation to walk with Christ - every day.
• Yield to the will of the Father - what do you want for my life, Lord?
• Collaborate with His vision using the wisdom of the Scriptures.

THINK ABOUT IT:

1. Read Matthew 13:31-32. Meditate and pray through this teaching of Jesus.

PRAYER PROMPT:

Father, may I be willing to get my hands dirty to reveal the work of Heaven in my life.
