The Power of Presence

“Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
John 14:23 NIV

When we place our faith in Jesus and live according to His teachings, the Bible tells us that God sends His Spirit to dwell within us. It’s an incredible promise—one that offers us constant companionship and unshakable hope. Yet, in the busyness and noise of life, it’s so easy to forget this reality.

Instead of embracing an all-access, ever-present relationship with Jesus, we can limit Him to certain moments, spaces, or routines. But Jesus doesn’t want to be an occasional guest in our lives—He wants to make His home in us. He desires to walk with us in every moment, big or small, and fill every corner of our hearts with His presence.

Let’s not settle for a fleeting connection when He offers us something so much deeper—an abiding relationship where we are never alone, always empowered, and constantly loved.

Take time to pause today and simply become aware of His presence. Let go of guilt or shame that might keep you distant. His love is unconditional, His grace abundant, and His desire is to be near you. In His presence, you’ll find peace, guidance, and joy.
