We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God

DAY 345 OF 365

Day 345 of 365

In Zechariah 11, God confronts the leaders of Israel for their failures, contrasting them with His own shepherding heart. In Zechariah 12, we see a vision of God’s future restoration and strength for His people, a reminder that His love endures even through times of judgment. In Revelation 2, Christ speaks to the church in Ephesus, commending their endurance yet urging them to return to their “first love”—their passionate devotion to Him. Together, these passages call us to remain faithful, rooted in love, and resilient even amidst challenges.

The Holy Spirit is our helper in this journey of steadfast love and faith. He reminds us of the depths of God’s love and empowers us to endure when circumstances test our resolve. The Spirit stirs our hearts, reigniting our love for Christ when it fades, and strengthening us to walk faithfully through trials. Through His presence, we learn to love deeply, remain humble, and hold onto hope, knowing that our perseverance brings glory to God.

Today, invite the Holy Spirit to renew your love for Jesus. Ask Him to reveal areas where you may have grown weary or lost focus. Embrace His strength to endure, knowing that in every trial, He is shaping you into a living reflection of God’s love and faithfulness.

About this Plan

We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God

We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to God is a 365-day Bible reading plan led by Bishop Gary Lewis, the General Overseer of the Church of God. The plan is designed to deepen your faith and understanding of God’s Word. Each day begins with a short devotional, followed by carefully curated Scripture readings, and concludes with the S.O.A.P. exercise—Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. Through this plan, you’ll grow in biblical literacy, discover God’s mercy and purpose, and learn to partner with Him in His Kingdom work.
