GIVE ME WISDOM
Every day, we have decisions to make. Some are easy, and some are very hard. There may not be a quick fix for that relationship, an easy solution to that money issue, or the best way to parent your child. In these moments, we need help. We need to seek wisdom. We need God.
James 1:5-6 tells us that when we seek Him, God answers. There is no limit to His goodness, and He won't judge us for asking again and again. However, we need to do so without doubt.
Although I didn't grow up in church, I did grow up on a boat. There is nothing scarier to me than being out on the water in a storm. On the unpredictable waters, I have doubted. You don't have the control you had in the calm waters you started in. And some of my life decisions have felt like being on a boat in a storm. There have been moments where I have felt like I am sinking. Maybe you have been there too. Perhaps you are there right now.
During these life storms, pause. Seek wisdom not from this world but from an Everlasting God who can already see the whole picture. This week, as you fast, be bold. Ask God for wisdom in ALL decisions. Ask Him for an answer to a problem you don't see a solution to. Invite Him to show you ways to take the next step in relationships, finances, or any area where you need wisdom. Let Him show you the way.
What decision do you need answers for today?

About this Plan
In His most familiar prayer, Jesus uttered a four-word "dangerous prayer:" "Your will be done" (Matthew 6:10). It takes trust in God's goodness and faithfulness to pray for His will in our lives. I want to invite you to have the same heart and desire as Jesus and to follow His lead in these four words: "Your will be done."
