New Day, New Year, and New Beginnings - 31 Days of Fresh Startsಮಾದರಿ

A New Zip Code...
For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son…
Colossians 1:13 AMP
As you ponder a new area in your life, a change of direction, or a lifestyle change, even if it is just one habit or behavior, have you ever thought, If I could only move away or live in a different place…with different people? Just keepin’ it real here.
The death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus accomplished incomparable things that we will never fully understand this side of heaven. Still, God’s Word invites us to realize that when the Lord cried, It is finished, in His final earthly breath, so much took place. This includes a change in our location—a relocation to a heavenly zip code that we can access while still living on planet Earth. The transfer has already happened.
Paul’s words above literally mean that God performed a helicopter rescue for us from the devil’s spiritual kingdom of darkness, and He has already transferred us to the kingdom of Jesus.
Sometimes, we do need to make a healthy physical relocation. We do need to change our surroundings. However, we must also understand that the spiritual realm affects and dictates the natural realm. Spiritual warfare in prayer is real. The authority of Jesus’ name is certain. We are God’s kids, and He has already given us a whopping inheritance (Ephesians 1:18). Even though our adversary holds influence over the planet (1 John 5:19), we, as believers, no longer dwell in his kingdom. We have a new location. The trouble is, we can live like we still reside at our old address.
A key to walking in something new is recognizing all God’s Word states about all that Jesus has done for us, who we are in Him, and what He has given us. Before things change in the natural, we must recognize our position in Him in the spiritual. When we do this—new things will spring forth for us wherever we let the Holy Spirit direct our footsteps.
About this Plan

Throughout Scripture, we discover the Unchanging One loves to change things up. Maybe Jesus is gently nudging us that it's time for us to have a new beginning, a fresh start, or that He wants to open a door of possibility. Let's open His Word and invite the adventure to begin!
