HEALING THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS Blood is the representation of life. Jesus gave His life in the sense that He died on the cross at Calvary and shed every last drop of blood. His innocent and spotless blood has the ability to demand healing for everyone who consumes it today. Jesus' blood can be consumed by participating in Holy Communion. When you believe that the wine given during communion is the blood of Jesus in the New Covenant and drink it, it promises to bring healing to your body. How do you claim your healing? Claim it by holding on to the conviction that Jesus fulfills the New Covenant promise that if you partake of the wine in communion with faith, you will be cured. Because the sprinkled blood of Jesus is doing good things on our behalf under the New Covenant, it has the power to cure all diseases. Because it is the atonement for our sins, it is pleading on our behalf. Jesus' sobs, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do," are an illustration of how His blood speaks for us. Therefore, no sin can cause illnesses that the blood of Jesus cannot heal. What can the blood of Jesus forgive? Every sin! All offenses are pardoned, and all illnesses are cured by the blood of Christ. You will experience God's healing when you drink the blood of Jesus in faith, just as Naaman was healed by immersing himself in water. You only need to honor Jesus' blood, trust in its healing properties, and drink it with thanksgiving. Given that it is the covenant that Christ has established with us, it will undoubtedly result in healing. What does God need? God needs your faith in the efficacy of His blood. How much more can the blood of God in the person of Jesus Christ promise healing if the blood of animals could, in the Old Testament, offer pardon and healing? Therefore, each time you consume it, focus your attention on the blood's power. He cannot break the New Covenant's pledge to heal by consuming His blood and the bread, which is His wounded body. If proper nutrition and good treatment can guarantee results, how much more would the blood and flesh of Jesus promise healing! Simply accept this fact, partake in Holy Communion, and you will be blessed. Reflection time: 1\. Jot down the instances that cause you to doubt your healing. 2\. Write down the verses in this devotional. Ask yourself if those instances are more powerful than the blood of Jesus that speaks on your behalf. 3\. Partake in the communion. Take a few minutes to place your faith on the blood and body of Jesus and consume it with thanksgiving. Make it a point to tell the Lord that you rest in what His blood has accomplished.
