What Jesus Said About Fathers and Mothers Causing Spiritual Woundsಮಾದರಿ
Fathers and mothers who inflict wounds
Unstable fathers/mothers
These are fathers and mothers who say one thing and do another. You never know what they will do next. The result is that children become unsure of themselves, don’t know what to expect, and because of this, will have a problem making decisions as they do not know what is right or wrong, struggle to have any sense of security, don’t know what to expect from the future and have no hope and faith. They will not be able to trust God fully – and struggle to understand that God is stable and unchangeable and will not say one thing and do something else.
A story: The father of Communism: In his book Objections Answered, R.C. Sproul tells the story of a Jewish boy who grew up in Germany. The boy’s admiration for his father was exceptional. The boy’s father ensured his family understood the Jewish faith, practised it, and faithfully took them to the synagogue.
During the boy's teens, the family moved to another town. There was no synagogue in the city, only a Lutheran church. Life in that community revolved around the Lutheran church, and all the important people belonged to this church. One day, the boy’s father announced they would give up the Jewish faith and join the Lutheran church.
The shocked family asked him to explain why he was doing this. His answer: “It is good for my business.” The boy was confused, upset, and shocked. He eventually became angry and bitter. He went to England to study. As he studied in the British Museum day after day, he started to write down his new ideas and published them. This book became a destructive force in the world, and he called religion "the opium of the masses." Who was this boy? Karl Marx, the father of Communism. The book? Das Kapital. This ideology has already killed more than 105 million people.
